Pari Zangeneh Iran
Born in 1939 in Kermanshah (Iran), Pari Zangeneh is a Sopano singer that lost her sight after a car accident in 1972. Her work on restoring traditional Persian music and regional folk songs is invaluable.

Pure bliss. Habibi Funk label releases are always reliably excellent, but this is high-tier even by their standards. Difficult choice between Matar Al Sabah and Lahnon Lemra'ati Wa Beladi for my favorite song here.

excellent - love it from beginning to end. Destined to become one of my favorite @Habibi_Funk releases (& that’s a high benchmark). Egypt Pop from dreamy to disco … fantastic voice & equally great band & clever arrangements. Strong melodies. This one will stay. & the fact that I think that I hear a slight Egyptian echo of the synths from Jeff Wayne’s „War of the Worlds” on “Law Affeina El Ard” only adds to the fun!
